Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Account Reconciliation:
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and intercompany transactions.
Month-End/Year-End Close:
- Oversee and execute month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Audit and Compliance:
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Prepare variance analyzes and report on financial trends and metrics.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
