Matco Rice Processing (Pvt) Limited

MATCO was established by Mr. Syed Sarfaraz Ali Ghori in 1964. (The name "MATCO" has been abridged from its mother company M.A. Trading Company to retain the old name as a good omen.)

After the government allowed the export of rice in the private sector in 1990, MATCO decided to set up a state of the art processing plant in the port city of Karachi.

MATCO Rice Processing is spread over 250,000 sq. ft in F.B. Industrial Area Karachi, Pakistan. The entire area comprises four rice processing units, two packing facilities, six warehouses and an office block.

Today, MATCO holds not only the credentials of working on the world's most modern rice processing plant but also of producing well-cleaned, graded and textured Basmati & IRRI rice for its valued customers in any quantity.

The MATCO Rice Processing plant is highly automatic and the rice grain is not touched by human hands from the time of its feeding into the plant till the final stage of automatic packing. MATCO has the facility to pack rice from 1kg to 100 kg packing in any quantity.
