Conduct thorough inspections of surgical instruments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform visual examinations and measurements to identify any defects, damage, or inconsistencies in the instruments.
Utilize specialized tools and equipment to conduct functional tests on surgical instruments to ensure they are in proper working order.
Verify the accuracy and precision of instrument markings, labels, and engravings.
Inspect instrument surfaces for cleanliness, sterilization, and proper handling.
Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues or non-conformities.
Document and report any quality concerns or deviations from standards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow established quality control processes and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as ISO 13485.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control guidelines, procedures, and work instructions specific to surgical instruments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
