I have demonstrated, experienced sustainable models, and provided advisory support to different organizations. My areas of expertise are program management in the above-mentioned thematic areas and hands-on experience of multiple donors while managing multiple projects. As Senior Education Manager, I was responsible for overall project management at the provincial level and led the project in two districts of Balochistan. During this engagement, I provided technical backstopping in teachers training, students assessment and classrooms management to the partners to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the project. To ensure transparency and accountability at all levels, I regularly coordinated with stakeholders, communities and partners and conducted periodic reviews of the project progress. During this project, we have not only achieved the overall project targets but also successfully mainstreamed 3000 out of school’s refugee and host children to Pakistani schools. In addition, through participatory approaches, sessions regarding protection, life skills, safeguarding and MHPSS were conducted in the targeted women and men communities. I represented IRC at different forums and shared the project’s progress with other partner organizations to avoid duplication of efforts and build synergies with other actors. To ensure sustainability of the project and to retain the mainstreamed students, schools’ improvement plans were successfully implemented in close consultation with the department of education and communities. During project tenure, I advocated with the education department for provision of annual development budgets to these schools and linked parent teacher committees with education department for future coordination. I was responsible for working closely and collaboratively with internal colleagues and partners to collect, analyze and share information on implementation issues. Teachers were trained in pedagogy, social emotional learning, and classrooms management in both districts. I was responsible to monitor and report on the use of sectoral programme resources (financial, administrative, and other assets), verify compliance with approved allocation, organizational rules, regulations/procedures and donor commitments, standards of accountability and integrity.
