Buksh Foundation is an emerging MFI, with Buksh group as a parent company. We started operations at the start of 2009, on the principles of alleviating poverty and augmenting women empowerment through micro credit . At Buksh Foundation we are seeking to scale the micro finance sector of Pakistan and transforming the myopic view of micro finance as mere a micro credit into a more global and holistic vision of impact investment. We believe in consistently adapting and innovating to understand our clients needs and delivering better solutions to our clients concerns reflected in our streamlined and simplified procedures for accessing a loan. Our focus on women includes efforts for gender mainstreaming as well as a commitment to targeting 70% women in the Buksh Foundation team and 60% women clients. Buksh Foundation will recognize women's contributions, inspiring and encouraging their efforts to expand businesses, improve the well being of their families and contributing to economic development of Pakistan.
