Deputy Project Director/Vietnam Lead - $ 5 Million, Against Child Exploitation-USGDOL Project for Philippine and Vietnam
·        He has responsibility for overall project management and operations in Vietnam, including grant implementation, financial accountability, staffing, planning and reporting .He is responsible for provision of expert advice, analysis and technical leadership on policies and operational strategies to strengthen the capacity of Vietnam’s government to address the worst forms of child labor (WFCL) including online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC), and violations of acceptable conditions of work

• Act on behalf of the COP during his/her absence.
• Support the COP in devising strategies, work plans, and performance indicators designed to achieve the USAID program’s aims and objectives and how available financial, material and human resources can be best allocated to meet them.
• Under the guidance of the COP, oversee the implementation of the technical program and ensure that it accords with the work plan approved by USAID.
• Coordinate with the COP on identifying obstacles to progress of the technical program and devising solutions and troubleshooting to overcome them.
• Provide on-going managerial and technical support to and oversee the work of CMP program advisors and managers.
• Support the advisors and managers in training and mentoring field staff including active participation in training and mentoring where necessary.
• Work with the COP to ensure the program complies with all pertaining USAID and IRD rules, regulations.
• Act as primary liaison with program partners IRD and HANDS, ensuring overall coordination of their activities and that they accord with the work plan and its timelines.
• Work with the COP to monitor partner performance and ensure that it complies with the terms and conditions of their contractual agreements.
• Assist in the preparation of major programmatic documents and reporting deliverables, including annual work plan as well as quarterly and annual reports.
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Acting Chief of Party, Sindh Community Mobilization Program- Project of USAID
• Supervise senior technical and administrative project staff;
• Represent project with USAID, GOS, including DOEL, District Education Offices, and PMIU, private sector organizations, donors, and pertinent implementing partners;
• Serve as the strategic guide for program activities – ensuring the program meets all required targets and anticipated results.
• Oversee development and implementation of administrative and operational procedures; strengthen finance, operations, and grant/subcontracts management systems;
• Ensure implementation supports the overall U.S. Government strategy for Pakistan;
• Grow, mentor and aid the management of private sector and non-governmental Pakistani partnering organizations in the successful implementation of program objectives;
• Liaise with other foreign assistance implementing partners to ensure streamlined programming of U.S. government assistance.

Programme Manager Sindh                                                                             September 2010 to December 2014
                                                                                                                                         Sindh, Pakistan
·        Successfully managed over $ 12 million development and humanitarian programmes (Education, Nutrition and Health, Shelter, WASH, Cash for work and Food Security) in partnership with local and international partners. Supported the development and implementation of an appropriate approach to results-based management in line with the organisation\'s partnership approach. Acted as main representatives in various consortium and alliances.

Established emergency responses in Pakistan after the supper flood of 2010. Support CARE International and Partners in implementation of humanitarian response especially food security, livelihood shelter projects and developed capacity of newly added partners for humanitarian assistance in flood hit area of Pakistan.

June 2006 to April 2009

·        Led the implementation of humanitarian and development projects /programmes (Food Security and Livelihood, WASH. Health, Education and Psychosocial, Shelter and Infrastructure) of Care International funded by multiple donors in partnership with several local NGO partners.  Responded to several emergencies (flood, Cyclone, earthquake, complex emergency) in Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh Provinces.

With the joint support of Ani-Slavery International, London and Charles Wallace Foundation Trust/ British Council, Pakistan, developed, various reports through desk research on Human Rights and bonded labour issues of Pakistan.

Lead the Network of 8 reputable NGOs (Church World Service Pakistan and Afghanistan, Caritas Pakistan/Hyderabad, TRD, PVDP, SAFWCO, RWWO, MRDO and LSRDA). Strengthened the partners NGOS through institutional development, trainings, research, exposure visits and developed linages with Government, UN and various agencies.

Developed and implemented multi donor-funded projects (Net Aid USA, CIDA Pakistan, Swiss Development Corporation- SDC and UN) on Non-formal and formal Schools, Governance, teachers trainings, community development and institutional development of local NGOs.

Lead the Taraquee’s Credit Programme from the Agriculture Development Groups (ADGs) and build their capacity. Develop reports of the project and monitoring and evaluation credit programme

Strengthen the Project Implementation Teams (PITs), conduct trainings for the VOs and PITs and monitor the projects activities
