I have two years of experience in nonprofit sector, and earned a last M.Phil. in International Relations degree from National Defence University, Islamabad and Masters of Science degree in Media and Communication Studies from International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan. I worked as a
Research Associate with Palladium – Make it Possible on a DFID Pakistan Project of Empowerment, Voice and Accountability for Better Health and Nutrition (EVA-BHN). The objective of the project was to increase the demand for better reproductive, maternal, new-born and child health (RMNCH) services and nutrition and empower citizens to hold the service providers. While working there I did media content analysis, maintained data base for it and presented the results by applying simple data analysis techniques. Previously, I worked with a think tank named SASSI as a Research Fellow. There I developed writing skills, networking and communication with diplomats and other political research writers. I wrote some research articles (unpublished). I also did a Research thesis in M.Phil. on the topic of “Implications of Indian Narrative towards Pak-China Relations- A case study of CPEC.” I also worked as a Medical Billing Executive in Medical Transcription Billing Company (MTBC) which is a U.S. based healthcare I.T Company. I worked for a nonprofit sector The Provider Plus Trust as an Office Secretary. Through these experiences I developed a strong research writing and communication skills. I learned about UN peacekeeping missions and peace and security activities revolving around conflict prevention, peacemaking, peacekeeping, peace enforcement, and peace-building in UN Peacekeeping training Course on Protection of Civilians. Besides I also carry report writing skills and aims to work for the education and health of poor people of society. My areas of interest are media, politics, research, policy development and social work.
