Senior IT Officer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior IT Officer to join our dynamic team. As a senior IT officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's computer systems, networks, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to IT support.

Responsibilities:

End-User Support:

Provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, network, and other IT-related issues.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, diagnosing and resolving technical problems promptly.

Hardware and Software Management:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Perform regular updates and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Manage hardware inventory and software, keeping track of assets to ensure compliance.

Network Support:

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems, collaborating with network administrators when necessary.

Data Security and Backup:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems, data, and network integrity.
Participate in the development and execution of data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard organizational data.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify and resolve IT-related issues.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of IT-related matters.

Requirements:

Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
Basic knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Note: This position is based in Khurrianwala. Only apply if you are willing to relocate or are currently residing in the area.
