1) Utilize truck sites to build up a carrier base.
2) Develop relationships with new carriers and maintain relationships with current carriers.
3) Negotiate competitive rates with carriers based off current market rates.
4) Monitor progress of shipments daily to ensure coverage, on-time performance and addressing any mid-transit issues.
5) Collaborate with our Customer Sales team to find the best transportation option for our customers.
6) Communicate load statuses, issues, and concerns to Customer Sales Reps.
Follow safety procedures to make sure you are doing business with qualified carriers.

Qualifications:
1) Dispatch, Customer Service, or Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
2) Need to be deadline and detail oriented.

3) Know how to build relationships with individuals over the phone.

Must be willing to work outside of the 5pm -2 am Mon-Fri.
