We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Tester with experience in Python to design, develop, and execute automated tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, a passion for quality, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
- Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation QA Tester with expertise in Python.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.
- Proficient in writing clean and efficient Python code for test automation.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications.
