We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer specializing in Node.js and AWS to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, architects, and product managers, to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable backend solutions.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic using Node.js, ensuring high performance and adherence to industry best practices.
- Architect and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as
- Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others as appropriate for the project requirements.
- Implement and maintain scalable databases, including designing data models, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and integrate third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and security.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize backend systems for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement effective CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, cloud computing, and AWS services, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in backend development with Node.js, including building RESTful
- APIs and server-side logic.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and architectures, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Proficiency in database systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including data modeling and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure tools, such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability techniques for backend systems.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and
- Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues in production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
