We are seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer with expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on our client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Ensure data security and compliance in cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and address issues proactively.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
- Manage cloud costs and optimize spending through cost management strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
