- Web & eCommerce Developers design, create, and modify websites
- He/She is responsible for the technical aspects of an online store, such as its performance, scalability, and security.
- Technical responsibilities, an eCommerce developer also often works closely with the store's owner or manager to ensure that the store meets their business needs.
- Develop quality test variations utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
- Utilize a test driven development philosophy to build quality code base
- Research & suggest emerging technologies with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects
- Work closely with Project Managers for setting project priorities
- Be effective and comfortable under minimum supervision
- Develop in an Agile environment and be flexible under special circumstances
- Be comfortable in learning new technologies and methodologies
- Develop key creative experiences on the desktop and mobile e-commerce sites in accordance with the site refresh cadence
- Collaborate on development and implementation of new interactive marketing experiences – microsites, lookbooks
- Partner with web production team to scope and test interactive experience requests from the creative & marketing teams
