The Store Incharge / Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing both the store operations and production processes. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure efficient inventory management, smooth production workflows, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed to prevent stockouts.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Implement effective FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Production Supervision:

  • Oversee the production process to ensure timely completion of orders while meeting quality standards.
  • Assign tasks to production staff and monitor their performance to ensure productivity goals are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize defects.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet specifications and customer expectations.
  • Conduct inspections at various stages of production to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to store and production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Train new employees on store and production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Motivate and coach team members to achieve performance targets and develop their skills.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or unsafe practices promptly.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in store management and production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
