Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a talented Assistant Accountant to join our team at Tulip Healthcare, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Perform reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring that invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely.
Assist with the preparation and submission of various tax returns and regulatory filings.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In addition, the ideal candidate should be supportive in other tasks as well, including client management and vendor management.
The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
