We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Accountant to join our team. The Construction Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations related to our construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes specific to construction projects.
- Reconcile project expenses and manage construction cost control.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
