Transport Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of transportation operations at our Sahiwal facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods, compliance with company policies, and smooth coordination between drivers, vehicles, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management:

Supervise daily transport operations, including dispatch and delivery schedules.
Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.
Ensure timely repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.

2.Driver Coordination:

Manage and assign duties to drivers and transport staff.
Ensure drivers adhere to safety standards, routes, and schedules.
Maintain accurate records of driver performance and work hours.

3.Logistics Planning:

Plan, monitor, and optimize routes for cost and time efficiency.
Ensure all transport activities align with delivery timelines.
Collaborate with the operations team to meet daily logistical requirements.
Ensure vehicle from add if needed.

4.Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all vehicles meet legal requirements, such as fitness certificates and insurance.
Conduct regular safety training and briefings for transport staff.
Maintain compliance with local transport laws and company policies.

5.Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including delivery logs, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
Generate and submit regular reports on fleet performance, costs, and operational efficiency.

6.Cost Management:

Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel and repairs.
Propose cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.

7.Customer Interaction:

Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods in a timely and secure manner.
Address and resolve any transportation-related issues or complaints.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in transport management or supervision.
Skills:
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in route planning and fleet management tools.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
