Purchasing Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our real estate construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services essential for our construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, equipment, and services. Negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing and quality.
Purchase Orders: Create, process, and manage purchase orders specific to construction needs, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, conducting performance evaluations to ensure reliability and quality of service.
Cost Control: Monitor market trends and pricing for construction materials to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in the construction sector.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, material costs, and supplier performance to senior management.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with site managers to monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for ongoing projects.

Qualification Required :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Must have experience in Development related procurement.
