DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in conducting security assessments and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Assist in the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure proper documentation and version control of security policies.
Participate in risk assessments to identify potential security risks.
Assist in developing and documenting risk mitigation strategies.
Aid in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
Assist in preparing for and supporting internal and external audits.
Help in maintaining incident response plans and procedures.
Assist in incident response activities, including documentation and follow-up on security incidents.
Support the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees.
Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
Assist in monitoring security controls and systems.
Assist in preparing regular security assurance reports for the management.
Stay updated with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Help the team in BAU activities of the function including access control, Security assessments, Monitoring, compliance and audits and Incident handling etc.

Tasks and responsibilities by Head of IS or Line Manager.
