Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled “Construction Manager” to oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Control and coordinate progress of work to maintain schedule.
- Troubleshooting and handling work as per schedule and specification.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage construction teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Oversee safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and audits to ensure a secure working environment.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
Construction Site Management:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during construction, keeping the project on track.
- Provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues to prevent delays and disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or equal to related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
