Main responsibilities for the jobs;
- Scheduling patient appointments and making reminder calls
- Informing patients about delays or wait times
- Updating and verifying patient information at every visit
- Assisting patients with filling out patient history forms, consent forms, and payment contract forms
- Receiving and processing payments for medical services rendered
- Reviewing patient accounts and collecting overdue payments
- Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate medical staff member
- Consulting with healthcare providers, evaluating patient progress, and assisting with securing funding for medical care
- Developing care plans and coordinating patient care services
