This role will be responsible for supporting delivery and reporting of capacity building and related activities of Aawaz II. She/he will work closely with Programme Management Unit (PMU) and Downstream Partners (DSP).

Main Responsibilities:

Capacity building:

  • Support Capacity Building Manager with inputs on the capacity building plan relevant to thematic areas.
  • Develop field plan and provide technical support on inclusion, tolerance and social cohesion to field teams.
  • Arrange and coordinate capacity building sessions on social cohesion.
  • Provide support in preparation of agenda and other material on thematic issues for learning forums, partners forum and planning meetings.
  • Develop, review and translate capacity building and programme related documents, as needed

Thematic Backstopping:

  • Mentor the Community Facilitators in the DSP team on inclusion, tolerance and social cohesion for cascading the refresher sessions and other field activities.
  • Provide technical input/guidance for development and revision of material including manuals/ modules/ handbooks and scripts of audio-visual material on thematic areas.
  • Develop and finalise scripts for audio-visual support material for sessions on core and thematic modules and ACA module.

Knowledge Products:

  • Provide support for production of knowledge products on inclusion of vulnerable groups (including but not limited to women, religious minorities, PWDs and transgender persons) and tolerance and social cohesion with guidance from the Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor of the Aawaz II Programme.
  • Produce knowledge products on vulnerable groups including women, youth, persons with disabilities, religious minorities and tolerance and social cohesion including relevant fact sheets, leaflets/one page.
  • Support PMU in developing positions papers, policy briefs, factsheets, one-pagers, etc. on relevant thematic areas.

Quality Assurance:

  • Track outcomes and result of capacity building activities on inclusion, intolerance and social cohesion.
  • Pre-test and assess Aawaz II communication material for community members.

Safeguarding:

  •  Incorporate Safeguarding refresher session in all trainings.·
