The position is responsible to play a critical role in ensuring the effective monitoring, reporting, and management of project data. He/She must have strong analytical skills, experience in data management and analysis, and excellent reporting and communication skills. He/She must also be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be committed to achieving project goals in a challenging and dynamic environment, as well as ensuring that the organization’s MIS stays current with project data, at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • He/She will provide support in the collection, analysis, and reporting of project data, including developing and managing data collection tools, monitoring project indicators, and conducting data quality checks. 
  • He/She will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and donor reports, and ensuring that all reporting requirements are met.
  • He/She will manage project data, including ensuring that data is entered accurately in RSU dashboard, Unicef portals, and programme online spreadsheets.
  • He/She will be responsible to conduct field visits along with engineers and social organizers to review the activities and provide input in programme related activities and repair/rehabilitation activities. 
  • He/She will contribute to the development of project knowledge products, such as case studies and best practices, and ensure that project knowledge is shared effectively with project staff and partners. 
  • He/She will assist in the development of project communications materials, including success stories, newsletters, and social media updates. 
  • Develop project related qualitative and quantitative M&E tools with the technical support from Project Coordinator and MEAL Manager.  
  • To train the project staff in using relevant M&E data tools for the improvement of program activities. 
  •  He/she will adhere SPO Policies and Procedures

Program Management & Implementation:

  • Support the District Coordination Officer/Project Coordinator in timely compilation of reports and prepare presentations as and when required.
  • Provide strategic guidance on activity planning, implementation strategies and future program orientation;
  • Any other relevant task assigned by District Coordination Officer/Project Coordinator/MEAL Manager.

Other:

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
  • Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
