Work Schedule:

  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Daily Hours: 7 hours per day.
  • Breaks: 2 hours of unpaid break on Monday to Friday in-between the working hours and 1 hour unpaid break on Saturday or Sunday in-between the working hours.
  • Work Days: Monday to Saturday (7 hours), Saturday or Sunday (5 hours)
  • Working Hours: Between 11:00 AM and 11:00 PM

About the Role

We at Stock Exchange Consulting International are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The candidate will get the opportunity to work with a UK-based firm associated with our company. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in material quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, tender submission and evaluation, subcontractor management, and team leadership. Experience with solar installation projects is a plus. The candidate may also be required to conduct site visits and provide site supervision as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work and Collaborate with UK-based firm.
  • Material Quantity Takeoffs and Cost Estimation: Accurately calculate material quantities and associated costs for various civil engineering projects.
  • Tender Management: Prepare, submit, and evaluate tenders to ensure competitive and compliant bids.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
  • Provide administrative support, manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Prepare documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and construction workers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.
  • Solar Installation Projects: Apply your experience in solar installation to contribute to renewable energy projects (Preferred).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering.

Skills

  • Proficiency in material quantity takeoffs and cost estimation.
  • Strong understanding of tender processes and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Planswift, MS Office, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
  • Experience with solar installation projects (Preferred).
