Reports to: Order Taking Supervisor/Team Lead

Department: Sales

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and learn the order-taking process under the guidance of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Taking:

  1. Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or in person.
  2. Accurately record order details, including products, quantities, and delivery information.
  3. Clarify customer requests and resolve order-related issues.

Customer Service:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns.
  2. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

Product Knowledge:

  1. Learn product offerings, features, and benefits.
  2. Stay updated on new products, promotions, and pricing.

Data Entry:

  1. Accurately enter orders into the database or order management system.
  2. Verify order information for accuracy.

Training and Development:

  1. Participate in training sessions to develop order-taking skills.
  2. Learn company policies, procedures, and software.

Requirements:

  1. FA Preferrably BA or equivalent.
  2. 0-1 year of customer service or order-taking experience.
  3. Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications.
  4. Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with customer relationship management.
  2. Knowledge of sales management systems.
  3. Familiarity with order management processes.
  4. Familure with customer service or sales.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Work in an office environment.
  2. Sit for extended periods.

Working Hours:

  1. Standard business hours ( 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
  2. Extra sitting  may be required during peak periods.
