ROK Inc is a engineering company providing design and engineering services to our clients worldwide. Currently we are looking for a structural designer with high level of expertise in structural design using 3D parametric solid modeling softwares such as SolidWorks. Expertise in developing structural fabrication drawings from preliminary conceptual design is necessary.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- At least 2 years of experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
The following experience is considered an asset:
- Experience with telecom related steel structure design.
- Industrial and on-site experience
- Fabrication experience
As an Structural Designer your responsibilities will include:
- Structural drafting, 3D modeling
- Drafting reviews and checking documents
- Creating other documentation as per project requirements
- Deliver a fit for fabrication set of drawings.
- Create revisions to the set of drawings including As-builts
