Healthcare System Partner - Policy

Purpose

• The Healthcare System Partner (HSP) is a senior leader who is empowered and working closely with system-level healthcare stakeholders such as policy makers and payers to shape the healthcare eco system.
• By doing so the HSP will be directly accountable to challenge and shape the healthcare system in service of better health outcomes for more patients faster in a sustainable way to society.
• The HSP demonstrates personal purpose around improving the healthcare ecosystem, both locally and for Roche more broadly. They think from an Enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders, in order to bring the best possible outcomes to both the local health environment, and more broadly, across Roche globally. 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The HSP partners with healthcare system stakeholders to drive healthcare system innovation and unlock possibilities to deliver value for the ecosystem and society
• HSP performs gap analysis, identifies challenges & opportunities in a healthcare system, co-creates solutions and co-implements them across ecosystems, indirectly impacting outcomes for thousands of patients
• The HSP acts as trusted partner and the primary (but non-exclusive) point of contact between stakeholders and Roche. She or he shares the stakeholder community vision and value internally, prioritizes and secures resources, and drives solutions that deliver outcomes faster.
• The Healthcare System Partner lives the Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst (VACC) model, particularly focusing on vision on being an architect and catalyst for the healthcare system.
• The role is empowered to pull in expertise and resources locally and from the network as needed, including in collaboration with other Healthcare System Partners and Patient Journey Partners.
• The HSP looks across the individual ecosystem and catalyzes our ability to see broader trends and patterns in healthcare systems. They need to bring outside insights into Roche to influence strategy AND to bring our expertise, science and knowledge out to the eco system
• Engage health authorities like Sehat Sahoolat Program, PBM, MOH and other policy makers and payers to shape their policies in patients’ benefit
• Devise strategies to overcome Policy level challenges in a patients’ journey and execute them effectively
• Responsible for achieving Roche's Policy goal of disease area prioritization
• Engage relevant stakeholders including PAGs/NGOs, MOH and others to raise awareness about healthcare issues and secure Government action to solve it

Additional Responsibilities

• Responsible to report incident/accident immediately to SHE department. Attend / complete all requisite on-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety Responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limit to ensure the learning outcome after the training has been implemented.
• Responsible to own the SHE goals as individual goals and play his/her part to achieve the goal in line with strategies/action plan.
• Identifies, collects and immediately reports all safety related information on Roche products to Local Safety Responsible as per Roche requirements and local regulations.
• Responsible for maintenance of records (electronic and physical as per the Local Core Map policy.  Any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time as required by the business.

Education

• University Degree from accredited university (Masters is a plus)

Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated ability of working with senior government stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of healthcare eco-system, processes and governance
• Knowledge of Roche’s portfolio
