The Solar Sales Engineer is responsible for selling solar energy solutions by combining technical expertise and sales skills. This role involves designing solar systems, providing customer consultations, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive solar product sales.
  • Conduct site assessments and recommend customized solar solutions.
  • Create proposals, presentations, and technical designs.
  • Build relationships with customers and guide them through the sales process.
  • Stay updated on solar technology, market trends, and regulations.
  • Support customers post-sale during installation and operation phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience in solar or renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of solar system design and technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst) is a plus.
