- Maintain accurate records of inventory and assets, including stock levels, movements, and disposals.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance departments to reconcile discrepancies and ensure inventory levels are adequate for operational needs.
- Monitor inventory aging and coordinate efforts for inventory reduction or liquidation as needed.
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and cost-effective procurement of inventory.
- Implement asset management strategies to maximize asset utilization and lifecycle.
- Track asset depreciation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Manage asset disposal processes in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on inventory and asset management activities for management review.
