About the role
- This is a hybrid role, where you will be working from our Islamabad office for 3 days a week and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
- Your working hours will be 11am – 08:00 pm Pakistan time.
- You will undertake the preparation and completion of a wide range of bookkeeping and assisting clients with queries.
The successful candidate must have experience of:
- Recording of asset register
- Performing Bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Performing Payroll management
- Oversee client invoicing, account receivable
- Preparation of VAT returns for clients
- Preparation of Year-end accounts
- Preparation of SA returns
- Assisting accountants in data entry
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients on financial matters, addressing inquiries and providing financial guidance
Technical Skills / Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
- Hands-on experience of accounting systems Quickbooks, XERO, DEXT and Hubdoc and Arthur.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs ( EXCEL, Outlook, Word, Adobe)
- Data entry skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked
- Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with the team and clients
