- Design electrical systems and components for packaging machinery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Select appropriate electrical components and materials for design specifications.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems in packaging machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into packaging machinery.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and packaging technology.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Electrical Engineer in the packaging industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
