- Prepare and review all required import documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance with local and international laws.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Identify potential risks in the import process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate with overseas suppliers to obtain necessary documentation and ensure compliance with import regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all import transactions and related documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Import Officer or in a similar import/export role.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import documentation.
- Proficiency in using import/export software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
