Senior Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling educational content. You will work closely with our instructional designers, trainers, and other team members to produce high-quality videos that enhance the learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Edit and assemble recorded footage into polished final products, ensuring high quality and adherence to project timelines.
Content Development: Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop engaging video content that effectively conveys course material.
Creative Direction: Provide creative input and direction for video projects, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, and conceptualizing visual elements.
Post-Production: Manage post-production processes including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of videos.
Quality Assurance: Review and revise videos based on feedback from team members and stakeholders to ensure final products meet organizational standards.
Project Management: Oversee multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Technical Support: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and tools, and provide technical support and training to junior editors as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and communications teams to create promotional videos and other multimedia content as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in an educational or corporate training environment.
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and sound design.
Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning best practices is a plus.
