As a Recruiter at OXITEC, you play a critical role in shaping our company's workforce by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the banking sector. With a strong emphasis on communication, interviewing, and networking, you will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that we select candidates who align with our company values and goals. In this position, you manage a dedicated team of five professionals, guiding and supporting their development to improve overall recruiting effectiveness. Your data analysis skills will also help refine our recruitment strategies and enhance the candidate experience, contributing to OXITECs reputation as an employer of choice in the banking industry. You will leverage your banking background to understand the nuances of the roles you recruit for, allowing you to provide valuable insights into candidate selection. Your ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple priorities ensures that our hiring processes run smoothly and efficiently. By fostering strong relationships with candidates and utilizing advanced sourcing techniques, you will play a pivotal role in building a diverse and talented talent pipeline for our organization.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions that reflect the skills and qualifications required.
  • Source and attract candidates using various methods including social media, networking events, and job boards to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit with OXITEC.
  • Manage the interview process, coordinating with hiring managers and providing guidance on candidate evaluations and feedback.
  • Utilize data analysis to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Lead and manage a team of five recruitment professionals, offering support, training, and motivation to achieve team objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in the banking sector that may impact recruitment strategies.
  • Prepare and present recruitment reports to management, illustrating current workforce metrics and recruitment successes.
  • Create effective employer branding strategies to attract top talent to OXITEC.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition to the organization and contributing to their long-term success.
