We are looking for a qualified Sales Executive to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will enhance the business by recognizing new business prospects and selling products to them. Maintain relationships with the current clients and develop and maintain new client relationships in person and via telephone calls. Cold call potential customers to prospect for new business. Stay ahead of the competition.
Once hired, the Sales Executive will have these responsibilities:
- Work towards achieving the sales target
- listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
- maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Cold call potential customers to prospect for new business
- Respond to incoming email and phone inquires
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
- Gather market information
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
The person will be further be required to:
- Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
- Record sales and order information, or entering figures into a computer system
- Represent the company at events and demonstrations
- Feed future buying trends back to employers
- Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
