IT Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, and troubleshoot networking problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Configuration: Set up hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues and support new application rollouts.
Network Troubleshooting: Resolve issues with routers, switches, access points, LAN, and WAN.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records and document procedures.
Provide exceptional service and user training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, OS, and software.
Proficiency in diagnosing/troubleshooting hardware/software.
Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols.
Experience with routers, switches, and access points.
Excellent communication skills.
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Relevant certifications (Networking+, CCNA) are a plus.
Proven experience in a similar role.
