We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and help us build cutting-edge mobile applications. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship new features.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Collaborate with the design team to implement stunning user interfaces
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through documentation, code reviews, and testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Android app development
- Experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and other development tools
- Strong understanding of Android architecture components such as Room, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Understanding of Material Design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
