We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overseas Coordinator to join our NGO organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local and international standards, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in donor relations and online campaigns.
The Overseas Coordinator will play a crucial role in expanding our global network, managing partnerships, and ensuring the organization's activities align with international standards.
Responsibilities:
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of local and international standards and regulations relevant to the NGO's branches. Regularly update the organization on any changes or developments that may impact our operations.
- Donor Relations: Communicate effectively with donors, conveying the impact of our programs, and providing timely updates. Implement a proactive follow-up strategy to maintain strong relationships and secure ongoing support.
- Online Campaigns: Plan, execute, and promote online campaigns to raise awareness, engage supporters, and drive fundraising efforts. Utilize various digital platforms and tools to maximize the impact of campaigns.
- Global Partnerships: Identify, register, and coordinate with potential partners worldwide. Develop and nurture relationships with organizations that share our mission, and explore collaborative opportunities to enhance our reach and impact.
- Experience and Expertise: Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in the NGO sector, with a focus on overseas coordination, donor management, and online campaign execution. Showcase a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the domain.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for overseas activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide insights and recommendations based on global trends and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on overseas activities, partnerships, and campaign outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Coordinate with International Partners: Collaborate with international partners to ensure timely submission of crucial documents, including financial statements, procedures, and other necessary documentation. Maintain open lines of communication to facilitate smooth information exchange.
- Capacity Building: Collaborate with local branches to enhance their capacity and adherence to international standards. Provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Innovation and Adaptability: Drive innovation in overseas operations, exploring new methods and technologies to improve efficiency and impact. Adapt strategies based on evolving trends and challenges in the NGO sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in overseas coordination within the NGO sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with international humanitarian and development standards.
- Proficient in using digital platforms and tools for campaign management and communication.
