•       Ensure strategic and timely flow of information and key messages to key external and internal audiences;

•       Organize press briefings; major conferences and seminars; public, print media, or broadcast media appearances; and other communications-related activities;

•       Write and/or oversee the preparation, production, and dissemination of both routine and complex products (e.g., backgrounders, media packets, news releases, articles, radio/TV broadcasts, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, Q&As, videos, websites, speeches, briefing notes, feature stories, etc.) that promote the image of the project to key internal and external audiences; 

•       Monitor and analyze drug use and HIV related events in terms of public and press opinion;

•       Initiate and sustain effective professional relationships with key internal and/or external stakeholders active in the field of HIV and drug use

•       Work closely with the PR team to manage and maintain the website and social media, including Facebook and blog sites;

•       Work independently, seeking guidance on complex projects/issues from senior staff.

•       Working on web design and development of informative material.

•       Any other task assigned by the Line manager.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

•     Conduct an audit of existing channels.

•     Implement a social media strategy.

•     Curate and schedule regular content across platforms.

•     Engage with followers, respond to queries, and moderate comments.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES FOR TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC:

 •     Develop campaigns for HIV prevention and treatment awareness.

•     Identify appropriate channels and mediums.

•     Create stigma-free, culturally sensitive content that promotes safe behaviors.

•     Facilitate community engagement for feedback.

 CONTENT CREATION:

 •     Develop content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and brochures.

•     Ensure content is evidence-based and resonates with the target groups.

•     Collaborate with teams for stories, testimonials, and updates.

•     Regularly update the Organization's digital platforms.

•     Create training materials and educational resources.

 DELIVERABLES:

 •     Detailed social media strategy document.

•     high-quality social media posts, including graphics, videos, and text content, tailored for the Organization's target audience.

Communication strategy for the target audience, including campaign proposals and content samples.
