Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for projects in the area and for the implementation, coordination and management of projects in accordance with Organization’s strategies and policies for quality programming.
  • Supervise activities of staff, consultants, and/or volunteers engaged in the implementation and administration of project objectives.
  • Ensure that the project is appropriately monitored reviewed and evaluated on a continuous basis according to organisational quality standards and in coordination with the MEAL team and Head of Programmes. 
  • Supervises the program activities, including selection of beneficiaries, distribution of relief items, construction of shelters/smart houses,  coordination meetings, and or other tasks.
  • Responsible for effective donor mapping and funding opportunities for Sindh province and actively sharing with Country office, along with providing active support in development of proposals.
  • Responsible for accurate budget control and overall responsibility for financial management at the project sites.
  • Extract and communicate gaps in the delivery of relief work in a timely manner for corrective measures and support at procedural level.
  • Represent the organization in all cluster and working group meetings and other coordination forums and sharing updates with country office.
  • Responsible for organizing weekly progress review meetings with all projects leads and sharing the minutes with the Country Office.
  • Supervising the operational responsibilities including procurements, logistics and administrative operations in close contact with relevant departments at CO level.
  • Ensure appropriate systems for all aspects of proroject cycle management are in place ensuring lessons learned are taken into account.
  • Work closely with the Country office Procurement team to ensure adequate logistical support to deliver high quality programmes timely and effectively. 
  • Ensure all relevant government authorities and partners are included in the planning and implementation of all project s as appropriate.
  • Develop and share quality reports in time with HOP and MEAL team as per the donor’s agreement.
  • Responsible for coordination with District Authorities, Provincial Authorities for effective coordination
  • Representing Muslim Aid at provincial level at different Networks, clusters, working groups and forums
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
