Financial Model Preparation:
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance, forecast future trends, and support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize historical data, industry trends, and economic indicators to create accurate financial projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for model development.
Management Reporting:
- Generate regular management reports highlighting key financial metrics, variances, and performance trends.
- Provide insightful analysis and commentary to facilitate understanding of financial results and drive actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the development of executive-level presentations for board meetings and senior management reviews.
Budgeting Activities:
- Support the annual budgeting process by working closely with departmental heads to gather input, review assumptions, and consolidate budgets.
- Analyze budget proposals to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, financial targets, and operational priorities.
- Monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year, identify deviations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions as needed.
Financial Statements Preparation:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and liaise with auditors to address inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
Specifications:
- ACCA qualification or CA Finalist status is required.
- Prior experience working in an audit firm, preferably in a financial advisory or assurance role.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their application in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and software tools, such as Microsoft Excel, and experience with financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
