Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a WordPress Developer to join our growing business! You will be proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build custom themes and plugins from scratch and possess a strong knowledge of WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our WordPress websites to ensure they are visually appealing and secure, as well as fast, functional, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Maintain Production, Staging and Development WordPress environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Build, test and optimise fast and secure WordPress websites
Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive WordPress themes.
Contribute to solutions for customer requirements
Implement and customise WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions.
Utilise Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible content management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP.
2 years WordPress experience required
Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Expertise in WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
Familiarity with modern web development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, BitBucket, Deploybot).
Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager & Analytics
Understanding of current SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
