Key Responsibilities:
IT Systems Management:
- Oversee the operation of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, billing software, and inventory management tools.
- Ensure the availability and functionality of hardware like servers, printers, and network devices.
- Monitor store-level IT infrastructure and coordinate with vendors for timely upgrades or maintenance.
Technical Support:
- Provide immediate support to store staff for IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity problems.
- Liaise with the central IT team for escalated issues.
Data Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and security of transactional data generated at the store level.
- Regularly back up critical data as per company policy.
Compliance and Security:
- Implement and monitor compliance with IT security policies, including antivirus updates, firewalls, and access controls.
- Safeguard customer data and ensure adherence to GDPR or other relevant regulations.
Training & Development:
- Train store staff on IT systems and tools, ensuring efficient usage and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with new technologies and educate store employees accordingly.
Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze IT system performance and prepare regular reports on uptime, issue resolution, and resource utilization.
- Identify and recommend improvements in IT processes to support business goals.
