Salaries:
Salary during Probation: PKR 180,000
Salary After Probation: PKR 310,000
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field with a proven record of success and experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role in the relevant field during a professional career.

ISMMART Group of Industries is actively exploring candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Logistics and Transportation in our E-Commerce Division. This role is tailored for experienced professionals with a minimum of five years of experience in the E-Commerce industry.
Job Description:
As the Assistant Director of Logistics and Transportation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the E-Commerce supply chain. Responsibilities include:
Logistics Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with teams to support the development and implementation of logistics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Contribute to ensuring logistics activities complement the overall business strategy.
Supply Chain Management:
- Assist in managing the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Support in monitoring and optimizing the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Inventory Control:
- Collaborate to ensure optimal inventory levels, meeting customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Support in implementing inventory management best practices, including demand forecasting and safety stock calculations.
Transportation Management:
- Assist in overseeing the transportation network, including selecting carriers, negotiating contracts, and managing the transportation budget.
- Contribute to optimizing transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Warehousing and Distribution:
- Support in supervising warehouse and distribution center operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate to implement warehouse layout and process improvements.
Team Leadership:
- Collaborate in recruiting, training, and managing a team of logistics professionals.
- Provide support in guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for a high-performing logistics department.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Assist in collaborating with vendors and suppliers for reliable and cost-effective sources of goods.
- Contribute to negotiating and managing supplier contracts and performance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Support in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate in developing risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
Technology and Systems:
- Assist in implementing and overseeing logistics management software and systems for enhanced efficiency and visibility within the supply chain.
Cost Management:
- Contribute to developing and managing the logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost control measures.
