Job Overview/Summary: 

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of Provincial Coordinator and Technical Supervision of Senior HR Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the HR policies, rules, and regulations, implements internal procedures and provides solutions to a wide spectrum of complex HR issues. The HR Officer promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach and contributes to the maintenance of high staff morale for Balochistan region.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as HR focal person for provincial staff in Balochistan, respond to staff queries, and facilitate staff in HR related matters.
  • Responsible for recruitment for the provincial offices in Balochistan while ensuring a fair and transparent process and in line with the IRC global HR policies and procedures.
  • Arranging for and providing orientation to newly joined employees, this includes but not limited to scheduling inductions, inducting new employees into IRC ways, culture, HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Performance Management System to ensure that the system is implemented in its true spirit.
  • Promote and uphold THE IRC WAY (codes of conduct). Ensure that all newly recruited staff understand these codes and sign the acknowledgment for record.
  • Ensure all staff have access to the IRC learning portal and courses are availed online.
  • Assist the HR Manager in the administration of EOBI, Life and Health Insurance.
  • Responsible for monthly salaries and benefits of the staff. Also process final settlements in consultation with HR Manager.
  • Maintain and update time sheets and leave record of IRC staff with proper filing; share the monthly time sheets update and leave status.
  • Maintain staff personnel files in a confidential manner and ensure that all personnel files are complete.
  • Reporting to HR manager for payments, recruitment, benefit and compensation.
  • Manage staff health and life insurance such as liaising with insurance companies, processing staff medical claims etc.
  • Foster and facilitate the development of cooperative professional relations between and among staff at all levels.

Education:

·         Bachelors; Preferably in HRM, BBA/MBA/MPA or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ of progressively responsible experience in administration, human resources management.  (Previous working experience of International NGO / similar set up)

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience in data analytics an asset.
  • Excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills.
  • Ability to extract and format data and conduct data analysis.
