Manage financial and accounting activities for construction projects to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project expenses and financial transactions, ensuring adherence to the budget.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Track and reconcile project expenses, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for Manager Accounts.
- Manage payroll for construction site personnel.
- Monitor and report on cash flow and manage project funds effectively.
- Ensure compliance with construction industry accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
- Previous experience in construction accounting or a related field is essential.
