The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections, testing materials and products, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. The Quality Specialist works closely with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing corrective actions.

Corrective and Preventive Actions:

  • Investigate customer complaints and product non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address issues.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of CAPA and make adjustments as necessary.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies or clients.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.

Supplier Quality Management:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

Customer Interaction:

  • Liaise with customers to address quality-related concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards and responsiveness.
