1. Academic Support to Teachers:
a. Provide instructional leadership by guiding and supporting teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies that align with the school's educational goals
b. Foster a collaborative environment where teachers can exchange ideas, share best practices, and engage in continuous professional development.
c. Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching methodologies and student learning outcomes.
2. School Development Plan (SDP):
a. Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive SDP that encompasses strategic goals for academic growth, staff development, and overall school improvement.
b. Align the SDP with the school's mission, vision, and values, ensuring its integration into daily operations.
3. Staff Hiring:
a. Lead the recruitment and selection process for teaching and administrative staff, ensuring that candidates demonstrate a strong alignment with the school's educational philosophy and objectives.
b. Collaborate with HR with the guidance and active involvement of RPM, to streamline hiring procedures and conduct thorough candidate evaluations.
4. Procurement:
a. Develop and propose procurement strategies that optimize the acquisition of educational resources, technology, and materials in support of academic goals.
b. Ensure efficient inventory management and maintain establish vendor records to ensure the delivery relationships that offer of value and quality.
5. Staff Appraisal:
a. Design and implement a robust staff appraisal system that promotes continuous professional growth and recognizes achievements.
b. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support individualized development plans.
6. Budgeting:
a. Develop and manage the school's budget, allocating resources to support academic initiatives, staff development, and student-centered programs.
b. Analyze and maintain financial data to make informed decisions and ensure responsible financial stewardship.
7. Administrative:
a. Ensure that the school building, furniture and fixtures, office equipment, play/assembly area and other properties are properly maintained.
b. Maintain the appropriate student to class room seating capacity ratio within the school by effectively implementing enrollment strategies.
c. Ensure school discipline, prioritize student safety, strictly prohibit corporal punishment, and promote positive character development among both students and staff.
d. Responsible for supervising the maintenance of school records, which will be carried out by the Vice Principal.
