You will be  responsible for capturing high-quality video content and editing it into finished productions. The role involves planning, filming, and editing video content for a variety of purposes including promotional material, events, documentaries, social media, and more. This individual must have a creative eye, technical expertise, and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Filming:

    • Plan and execute video shoots, including pre-production tasks such as storyboarding, shot planning, and location scouting.
    • Capture high-quality footage using various types of cameras and equipment, such as DSLRs, camcorders, drones, etc.
    • Adjust lighting, audio, and camera settings to ensure optimum video quality.
    • Operate video equipment on set, ensuring proper framing, focus, and coverage.
    • Direct talent and crew during shoots, ensuring proper positioning and delivery.
  2. Video Editing:

    • Edit video footage into polished, final content, ensuring seamless flow, continuity, and adherence to project objectives.
    • Add visual effects, transitions, and motion graphics as needed.
    • Work with raw footage to create engaging content, including trimming, rearranging, and mixing clips.
    • Incorporate audio, including background music, sound effects, and voiceovers, to enhance the video.
    • Color correct and grade footage for the desired visual look and feel.
    • Ensure videos are edited to the highest standards and meet the specifications for each platform (social media, websites, etc.).
  3. Post-Production:

    • Conduct detailed reviews of the video content and make revisions based on feedback from clients or project managers.
    • Ensure all files are backed up and archived appropriately.
    • Prepare final video files in the correct format and resolution for distribution.
  4. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with directors, producers, or clients to understand their vision and requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and project goals.
    • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for new video projects.
  5. Equipment Management:

    • Maintain and operate video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound systems.
    • Stay updated on the latest video technology and editing software.
  6. Content Strategy:

    • Help create and implement video content strategies for social media, marketing, and other digital platforms.
    • Analyze video performance metrics and optimize content for engagement.
