Design Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead our design team and drive the creation of exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of designers.

Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Oversee the design team's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

• Team Management: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

• Design Process: Establish and refine the design process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects.

• User Experience: Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research and translating insights into impactful designs.

• Design Quality: Maintain the highest design standards, ensuring visual appeal, usability, and accessibility.

• Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, marketing) to deliver successful products.

• Project Management: Oversee design projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project goals.

• Tooling and Technology: Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in design leadership roles.

• Proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and research techniques.

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
